When I quit my job teaching high school, I began searching for books, blogs, forums and more that provided stay at home mom advice and support. What I found instead was a ton of information about “surviving” motherhood. I was very disappointed to discover that so many women look at motherhood as something to endure instead of enjoy. Motherhood is a wonderful gift. It is a hard job, but one that is full of rewards . Motherhood is a labor of love which grants you the privilege of shaping and modeling your children into the kinds of men and women you want them to be. It is an important job. Mothers shape the next generation. It is an incredible responsibility to be a mom. Choosing to simply survive motherhood will have a negative impact on your children that will follow them well into adulthood and then create a legacy that they will then pass down to their own children. I decided that I was going to be a thriving mom instead of a surving mom. I created this site to encourage other mothers to be thriving moms too.
