About the Author

I am a stay at home mom to two toddlers and a baby. Before becoming a mom I taught high school English. In addition to my Teaching Certificate, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a specialization in "Marriage and Family" and completed an internship with Children Protective Services. I feel that my experiences as a stay at home mom (SAHM) coupled with my education gives me a unique insight into the world of mothering. I learned a lot about being a wife and mom in my Sociology studies, and I learned even more through trial and error. It's my goal to share my sage advice with other moms to help make their road to becoming a thriving mom a little less bumpy and a lot more enjoyable.

Being a thriving mom rather than a surviving mom is important to the climate of your entire home. Your attitude as a wife and mother affects your entire family. I hope my site helps you to become a better you and thus increases the love, warmth, and joy found in your own home.
